  • Yes! Our services are completely free for brands.

  • 3PL stands for third-party logistics and is a common term for an outsourced fulfillment partner. 3PLs provide services ranging from storage and order processing to shipping and receiving.

  • Using Third Person saves you time and energy. Instead of spending tedious hours searching for the perfect 3PL that meets your specific needs, you hand off the process to us. We use our AI-powered algorithm to provide a personalized list of the top 10 3PLs for your business – and it only takes a few minutes to set up your profile and start connecting with 3PLs. You’ll find the best fulfillment partner quickly & easily (and for free!), and you’ll save time and money down the line by ensuring you connect with the right 3PL from the start.

    Connecting through Third Person is completely free for brands, but comes with real benefits:

    • 3PLs prioritize brands introduced through our platform

    • They receive your profile information as soon as you reach out to them, so conversations start with context

    • You skip cold outreach and get directly to quoting and onboarding

    • You get access to contacts who respond, because they know you're a vetted lead

    • We can support you through the selection process if needed

  • While there is no hard and fast rule of when it’s time to outsource your fulfillment, you generally “know.” We have supported pre-launch brands to launch their business at a 3PL, and we have also supported billion-dollar brands outsourcing their fulfillment for the first time. Fulfillment can be time-consuming, complicated, and a distraction to your core business. The question we encourage you to ask yourself is, "What’s the better investment of your time?”

  • It only takes a few minutes to fill out your brand profile on Third Person. After that, you’ll be able to see your top fulfillment partner matches within a few seconds thanks to our AI-powered algorithm. 

  • We use the information you provide in your profile and combine it with information provided by the fulfillment partner to measure compatibility. This becomes a percentage score out of 100.

  • We generate revenue on the fulfillment partner side of things. Fulfillment partners are charged a fee when they secure a customer through our services. Brands will never be charged by us at any stage of this process!

  • A brand's existence on Third Person is strictly confidential. This was done intentionally to ensure the sensitivity and confidentiality of a brand's 3PL search, as well as to avoid a brand being bombarded by 3PLs wishing to work with them.

    Of course, when a brand opts to connect with a 3PL directly (by messaging them through the platform), the 3PL then sees your existence, but by simply signing up, creating a profile, and viewing your results, 3PLs have zero visibility.

3PL FAQs

  • We offer four tiers of subscriptions based on your needs. 

    Basic Tier: It’s free to sign up and create a Third Person Profile, get matched with brands, and pay nothing until a contract is signed with an e-commerce brand. Under the basic tier, Third Person is entitled to a Lead Program Fee of 2% of the eligible fees collected by the 3PL from each accepted client during the Lead Program Period. (2 years). 

    Subscription tiers are optional for those who want more visibility, insights, and community access. Essential Plan Tier: $99/month ($999/year) and success fees remain at 2%, Growth Plan – $499/month ($4,999/year) and success fees reduce to 1.5%, and Premier Plan – $999/month ($9,999/year) and success fees lowers to 1%, in addition to offering expanded features. 

  • No! If you are enrolled in our Lead Program you will be connected directly with any brand that wants to get in touch and only pay a fee if they become a customer.

  • We use the information you provide in your profile, particularly your Ideal Client Profile, and combine it with information provided by the brand to measure compatibility.

  • No! As long as you are actively enrolled in the Lead Program, you will be connected with any brand that is interested in getting in touch with you without limitation.

  • Absolutely. There’s no requirement to upgrade, and you can move between plans at any time.

  • No. The platform is free for brands, from discovery through signed contracts.

  • No. Our AI-powered matching stays the same across all levels.

  • Yes! You can update your profile (what we use to match you with e-commerce brands) and add or remove any warehouse in your network in your account settings.

  • Third Person is not focused on quantity — we are, however, focused on quality. While we are aggressively working on new growth levers, we will always be focused on ensuring you only see well-qualified leads (i.e. brands that meet your ICP). The way our platform works is that brands opt-in to connect with you. So it may take time to get that first one, and they may not be frequent (depending on your ICP) but when they do reach out, they will be qualified!

    We always encourage 3PLs to treat their profile like a LinkedIn profile — it's meant to be updated as your business evolves. Try tweaking certain responses like monthly minimums and average client size to see how that might impact the volume and quality of leads that connect with you.
