Our Story

Our Founder and CEO Matt has almost two decades of experience leading e-commerce operations as an early employee at brands such as Rent the Runway and Birchbox.

In 2017 he started Second Marathon, a consulting business that helps brands like Hexclad, Away, THUMA, Birdies, Sakara Life, and Milk Bar, optimize their supply chains.

While consulting the most frequently asked question he got was “Who is the best 3PL”? However, finding the right 3PL is dependent on many factors. He knew it would be impossible to throw out names without digging deeper into the brand’s broader needs and wants.

So in March 2024 he launched Third Person.
